Our most popular event, the House and Garden Tour, is back for 2025. This year’s tour features one of our most popular neighborhoods: “South of Park Avenue: Charming Homes on Westminster and Surrounding Streets.” The tour features grand homes, walkable streets, and a true sense of neighborliness.
The event will include many examples of beautifully maintained homes that retain the details of an earlier era. Five tour stops will be featured. Craftmanship is evident throughout, from an impressive Park Avenue “statement” home to finely designed Westminster mansions and a charming bungalow. One grand house that has never been open to the public has undergone an amazing restoration, and our tourgoers will be the very first invited to visit.
- Tour tickets must be purchased in advance (no day of tour sales). Your ticket is good both days of the tour, with a limit of one visit to each site.
- Purchase your ticket online, and on the day of the tour bring your ticket receipt to Tour Headquarters to receive your map pass to the tour, required to enter the homes.
- Young children/babies will be refused entry to the private homes. Children over 12 years may attend but must must have their own full-price ticket.
- Prior to the tour dates you will receive a second email with a link to download the program, or you may simply read it online. You may also choose to pick up a print copy at Tour Headquarters.
- Tour headquarters (open tour days only) are Francis Parker School 23, located at 170 Barrington St, 14607.
- This is a tour of private homes that may not be physically accessible. We regret that assistive devices such as walkers or wheelchairs are not permitted in the homes.
